What Skills does a B.Sc Optometry student develop?
The B.Sc Optometry students will be trained on aspects such as; eye care, eye disorders, basic techniques and medication etc. The course also trains the students to work independently,
perform as a team player, eye to details, assess and plan, implement, evaluate eye care, decision-making, etc.
BACHELORS IN OPTOMETRY
Course Requirements
- PUC /+2 Passed with 1st class(Science background only)
- Bachelors degree will be awarded from RGUHS
- 4 years ( 3yrs theory &Practical, 1 year internship)
FELLOWSHIP IN CONTACT LENS
Course Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Optometry (From recognized institute)
- 3 months course
- 3 students per batch
FELLOWSHIP IN BINOCULAR VISION
Course Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Optometry (From recognised institute)
- 6 months course
- 3 students per batch
CERTIFICATE COURSE IN BINOCULAR VISION
Course Requirements
- Diploma / Bachelor’s in Optometry (From recognized institute)
- 3 months course
